    Lovely, spacious courtyard apartment in a quiet neighborhood near the Jewish museum. Easy walk to the U-banh and to central downtown. Kitchen was extremely well-furnished in case you want to eat at home. Very quiet overall, with the exception of some noise in the early morning most days (not sure if it was trash being taken out). Great place to relax.

    Stunning space, everything is clean and beautifully designed. Very luxurious feel and extremely spacious for two people. Beds were extremely comfortable, tv in the bedroom was a nice touch. I liked the courtyard and the huge windows. The two bathrooms were very convenient to use. The loft itself was beautiful with lots of interesting touches and everything is fairly close by. I’d stay here again!

    We have had a fantastic few days at Babetts apartment. Well located, very very peaceful and quiet as it's hidden away but great location within easy walk of cafes, attractions and public transport. We would definitely book Babetts place again if we returned to Berlin.

    This is a good place to stay in a quiet area of Berlin, central to Mitte and Kreuzberg but not feeling too busy or loud. The place itself is quiet and clean with a fully stocked kitchen. I would definitely recommend. Just to note they aren’t flexible on check-in and check-out which left us in a bit of bind so keep that in mind.

    Lodging was very comfortable and location was close to Checkpoint Charlie! As a military brat my father often told stories so to be within a few minutes walking distance was special! There was some good restaurants a little past that, one German one that reminded me of the one in Munichs Hofferhaus! My spouse loved the little Murphys Pub as he owns a bar similiar and feels comfortable in hometown bars rather than high end. The shower was absolutely amazing! After two weeks traveling from Norway and Denmark I was very appreciative of the shower and washing machine! Will say be careful of parking areas as we did end up with a ticket when we parked around the corner in front of other apartments. Overall this was perfect and can’t thank the owners enough for sharing their unit with us and the ease of reservation!

The accommodations were really comfortable and we were able to relax at the end of day. I highly recommend this property.

    Eine schicke Wohnung auf 2 Etagen. Praktisch, dass neben dem Schlafzimmer auf der zweiten Etage sich auch das Badezimmer befindet, während im Erdgeschoss auch noch eine Gästetoilette vorhanden ist. Sehr nice auch, dass es im ruhigen Hinterhof mit einer hübschen Terasse liegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Vermieter war auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Er hat uns einen vergessenen Haustürschlüssel umgehend zurückgeschickt.

    We travel to Berlin often to visit out daughter who lives there, and have stayed in many Vrbos and hotels. We chose this one because the kitchen looked well stocked and we were planning to cook and American Thanksgiving for our daughter and friends. This apartment was perfect! The building is beautiful and near everything, including a few great grocery stores. The kitchen was well equipped and worked perfectly for us. We highly recommend this apartment.

    In one word to describe my stay- Perfect! To be honest this is one of the best stay I have ever had. The place itself is very lovely- well furnished and has everything you need. Everything is spotless and tidy. The heater is sufficiently keeping the place at a very comfortable temperature in cold winter as well. The surrounding is quiet and private. I was able to get very good quality sleep during my stay. Host/agency are very helpful and responsive- even arranging early check-in for me which made my arriving so much easier. Check-in and check-out process are simple with very clear instruction. If I ever go back to Berlin I will definitely book this place again. And If anyone is considering between places, this place will not disappoint you. I truly hope everyone have a wonderful stay just like I did :)

    Was a great stay with everything as described, sometimes some responses were very delayed but can’t expect the world given the price, very modern and stylish. Only problems were no instructions on how to use the appliances of the apartment, and someone leaving a very passive aggressive letter on the front courtyard gate saying ‘to shut up and to close the door’ even though minimal noise was made (a little noise is to be expected given it is a tourist apartment) and the door did not lock neither was closed by other residents nor delivery people

    We came to Babett's place to celebrate our 10th year anniversary, wanting to upgrade our Airbnb experience. We were not disappointed! What a beautiful flat, on two storeys as well! there has been a lot of effort put in this place. Beautiful decor, a mix of modern with touches of old with the brick pillars left intact. It was easy to find, very pleasant to stay in and with lots of local shops and restaurants we enjoyed. as it is central, everything is quickly accessible via the public transport! All the available amenities made our stay very comfortable and we enjoyed the local recommendations left at arrival. We had an excellent time, and we already recommended this flat to our friends!     Die Unterkunft ist eine typische Business Airbnb Wohnung, sehr kahl und nichts persönliches. Leider gab es hier für uns auch keine Möglichkeiten gut zu arbeiten, da es keinen richtig Tisch gab. Sie ist aber sehr schön geschnitten, hat tolle Elemente, sieht stylisch aus und hat alles was man braucht - sogar gewürzte und Öl, was man normalerweise eher selten findet. Auf den Fotos sah die Wohnung meiner Meinung nach aber größer aus. Das Bett war nur durchschnittlich gut (was mir persönlich aber sehr wichtig ist) und von draußen kam trotz dunkler Vorhänge viel Licht rein in der Nacht. Die Lage ist aber super, man kommt schnell zur U-Bahn und ist direkt um die Ecke von Checkpoint Charlie. Aber mein Fazit: alles in allem finde ich sie zu teuer für das was sie ist.

    Im F-17 Apartment ist alles, aber wirklich alles vorhanden, was ein guter Haushalt benötigt;-). Es ist also gar keine Problem, sich auch bei scheußlichem Berlin Wetter drin wohl zu fühlen. Draußen der Sitzplatz auf der kleinen Terrasse ist dann bei Sonne sehr schön. Das Design der Wohnung ist super und die Geschichte des Hause hochinteressant (danke, dass dafür das Buch des Hauses Gutschow auslag). Einzig die Bettwäsche passte so gar nicht zur sonstigen Schönheit, dafür war die Decke aber überlang und das hat uns auch gut gefallen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

    Wir waren neun Tage in Berlin und haben uns in der Wohnung äußerst wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation war großartig, der Check-in flexibel und die Wohnung in einem makellosen Zustand. Die Einrichtung ist sehr stylisch und stimmig bis auf die Anbringung der beiden Fernseher, die optisch etwas unglücklich gelöst war. Wie von anderen Gästen bereits erwähnt, ist die Ausstattung der Küche einmalig und lädt zum Kochen ein. Wir würden uns freuen, bald wieder in diesem schönen Domzil unterkommen zu können.

    Es war alles tip top und sehr schön! Die Kommunikation war einfach und schnell. Die Lage der Wohnung ist ebenfalls super. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist das Bett. Dieses quetsch sehr (vor allem wenn die Person einen leichten schlaf hat). Ich persönlich fand auch, dass die Kissen nicht so bequem und von guter Qualität waren. Würde das AirBnB trotzdem weiterempfehlen.

    Das Appartement ist für ein paar Tage Berlinbesuch praktisch. Die Küche top ausgestattet, auch wenn wir sie durch die zentrale Lage eigentlich nicht gebraucht haben. Das Gäste-WC ist sehr eng, da dort auch die Waschmaschine steht. Alles ist sehr liebevoll und individuell ausgestattet. Das Bett könnte etwas besser sein. Ansonsten alles top!

    Great accommodation, very close to the U transportation and 5 minutes walk from Check Point Charlie. Accommodation was very spacious and provided everything needed for a short or long stay. We arrived after midnight so self check in was very handy. The hosts requested our check out time prior to our arrival which was 11am- as this was the latest time advertised on their listing. Only issue we had was that the cleaner was ringing our buzzer and knocking on our door at 09.50am - when we were still preparing to leave. Despite this, we would definitely stay again and recommend it for others looking at exploring Berlin.

While we enjoyed the space , there were a few key items missing/array. - towels were very old and not very enjoyable to use. - upstairs bathroom had a sewer smell that made it very unpleasant to use - washing machine was located inside the bathroom, in front of the sink. It made for a *very* tight squeeze and was a little frustrating it was considered a 2 Bath - basic amenities missing: no soaps in the showers and you had to leave a coin if you used any espresso pods

    Eine sehr komfortable Unterkunft mit hochwertigen Einrichtung. Blitz saubere Wohnung. Ich kann mit Gewissheit sagen das diese Wohnung mit Abstand die sauberste war die ich besucht habe. Check-in sowie Check-out absolut unkompliziert. Sehr ruhige Lage da sie im Innenhof liegt. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ( Edeka) fußläufig erreichbar ( 2 Min ) die U- Bahn ist unmittelbar in der Nähe. Kinderspielplatz gegenüber in der Seitenstraße. Ich bedanke mich bei Babett für ihre Gastfreundschaft. Die Qualität der Einrichtung und die Mühe die in die Reinigung investiert wurden beweist die Wertschätzung gegenüber den Gästen. Absolute Weiterempfehlung aus meiner Sicht.

Une bonne base pour découvrir à Berlin, son emplacement est proche du métro. L'appartement est un peu sombre, mais la cour intérieure nous a permis de manger dehors, ce qui est bien agréable! Très bien pour un séjour romantique à deux.

    Wer ein bisschen Luxus liebt und einen ausgefallenen, aber geschmacksicheren Stil zu schätzen weiß, ist hier wunderbar gut aufgehoben und schläft auch gut auf diesen bequemen Matratzen. Eine derart üppig ausgestattete Küche habe ich in unserer langen Erfahrung noch nicht erlebt - es wäre deshalb vorteilhaft, wenn die künftigen Gäste gern kochen möchten- selbst ein Eierpiekser, Tarteform etc. sind vorhanden! Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in allernächster Nähe. Gäste, die lieber auswärts essen, finden Möglichkeiten dazu auch nahe beim Apartment. Da wir uns mit unseren erwachsenen Kindern ausserhalb getroffen haben, kann ich zur Qualität der Restaurants nix sagen. Ich würde diese Wohnung ohne zu zögern allen meinen Freunden und Bekannten empfehlen

    The place was very well equipped and was clean, easy to access, quiet and in a great area. The shower was not great however, the water came out of the shower as the drain was a little clogged, also the shower head needs replacing this would help a lot and cost next nothing. It sprayed around a lot etc. The pillows and linen were so so but maybe as an Airbnb this is tricky. The sofa was also a little hard and not inviting but the rest of the place is wonderful and made our trip really easy. I would definitely recommend this place but do hope they can remedy at least the shower head.

    Unser Aufenthalt bei Babett war wunderbar. Die Lage der Wohnung ist unschlagbar. Die Wege zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sind nicht sehr weit. Auch war die Wohnung sauber und gemütlich. Leider ist die Wohnung etwas dunkel, weil sie im Erdgeschoss gelegen ist und die Fenster zum Innenhof hinausreichen. Man kann sich allerdings in den schönen Hof auf die Terasse setzen. Très bel appartement (attention toutefois aux photos prises au grand-angle : un peu trompeuses sur les volumes...) au design soigné et super-équipé, dans un très bel immeuble ancien. L’appartement donne sur une cour très calme et arborée. Une adresse qui mérite largement ses 5 étoiles !

Our winter stay was cosy- the internal courtyard in summer would be lovely I imagine! The location is quite urban but close to major metro stations.

The apartment seems smallish at first but once you get settled in, there’s really plenty of space to move about. Location is topnotch. You can walk your way to the major sights and spots. If you’re not up to walking, transport stops are just nearby. Stephan is a great host too!

    This place was fantastic! The kitchen amenities were fully stocked and so useful. There is an espresso machine and you can either use their pods (for a small cost) or buy pods from the market. We went during an August intense heat wave and there is no a/c in the unit, but there is a fan and the host graciously brought us a second fan the next morning that really made the heat bearable. That was super nice and above and beyond of them, and we really appreciated it. They also provided us with a high chair and travel crib for our any- great extra touch. The place is designed with excellent efficiency in mind and is a great looking space. The bathroom is huge and the water pressure is fantastic. There are stairs in the unit so you must be ok with that- I wouldn’t recommend you bring a toddler. The location was great- right off of check point Charlie metro stop, and with places nearby to get coffee and necessities. Laundry is offered at 5 euros per load.

About a 20-25 minute walk to the trendy parts of Mitte and Kreuzberg, but only minutes away from some of the commercial shopping areas and Checkpoint Charlie. The apartment itself faces a common courtyard shared with several families. It is very quiet at night. The neighborhood seems to be very safe, with lots of children and families. We chose to eat in the trendier parts of Mitte and Kreuzberg (about a 10 min taxi ride) so we aren't able to recommend any of the local food options. The apartment is very close to the subway. It is nicely designed and fairly central. The hosts were very responsive and helpful.

    If you are looking for a great apartment, in a convenient location, and you enjoy purchasing foods at the local markets and then preparing meals at "home", then look no further. Babett's place is wonderful, with a kitchen outfitted with virtually every cooking utensil imaginable. The furnishings are very practical and comfortable. The small patio at the front of the apartment is very enjoyable for morning coffee, an afternoon refreshment, or even dinner. The fact that the apartment has a half-bath downstairs is a real plus. Upstairs, plenty of storage, a super-comfy bed and a very modern bathroom with a strong shower and lots of hot water. Everything stylishly decorated, very clean. We kept thinking "we could live full-time in this place and space". And so glad we did for our stay in Berlin!

    Babett's home was welcoming and extremely clean! The location is terrific as it is placed between two U-bahn stops on the U6 line: Hallesches tor and Kochstrase (closest to CheckPoint Charile). There is a Rossman (drug store like), EDEKA (grocery) and multiple restaurants very near the home. We ate at Delhi 6 (Indian) twice enjoying all their food but especially the hot mint and lemon tea & the Mango soup. The waiters were super helpful and friendly! Of note: bring your own shampoo, conditioner and a bar of soap as these items are not provided. The kitchen is well equipped to cook a nice meal. We did have to google how to use an Induction range but it was fun making pasta Carbonara on a cold rainy winter night in Berlin. We purchased and left a corkscrew for all who follow as that was not available. Having the stores just a few steps away was very convenient! We enjoyed our time at Babett's home. It was very easy to feel like a local. The building and community was very quiet except for the spectacular New Year's celebration as the whole city sounded like one HUGE firework!! Check-in was a breeze. Communication with Babett and her team was easy and timely. If you want to visit the Reichstag remember you need a reservation best done in advance and online. (we learned - although too late- you can ask at the Reichstag check-in counter for a "Walk-Up" reservation if it is available. We actually had one reservation time appear on the internet site for each day we were there but by the time we entered our information the slot was gone.)

    We so enjoyed this flat, the heating was amazing and with great decor it was a lovely cosy place to come home to after a long days site seeing. This flat has all the mod cons you need. From a great Bluetooth stereo, hover, 2 Tv’s and all the cooking equipment you need, to the amazing water pressure and a lovely hot shower. The flat it’s self is in a quite courtyard that is reminiscent of the old Berlin you see on films. Tucked behind a big iron security gate. It’s only a short walk to the underground and you can be anywhere in the city in about 30min. Of course walking is also a good option. There are restaurants and takeaways near by and a Lidi just round the corner. Happy to give this great flat 5 starts and will defiantly stay here again should we come back to Berlin.

    Every apartment should be like this--spacious, clean and modern, with every thing you need for a long term stay. We loved the architecture and the interior design, including the 1.5 bathrooms. The hosts provided abundant storage in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. As you would expect in Germany, everything had a place, and we could completely unpack and really settle-in for the week. The kitchen was well equipped, and we cooked a few meals here. Two notes of caution: Berlin is a big city. Buy an multi-day metro card and plan to start the day with a short ride on the city's great transit system (or spend a lot on taxis.) Also, there were multiple building near us under construction, and they start at 7:30 in the morning. Light sleepers, beware.

The apartment is a designer led, easy to get to, clean space in a courtyard which keeps it quiet at night. Beware the very heavy entrance door to the courtyard though! You will find all you need in the apartment itself and it is close to two U Bahn stations making it easy to use the efficient public transport system to get anywhere you need. There are a few excellent high end restaurants nearby otherwise it is worth discovering other neighbourhoods for different food and nightlife options as it is a little quiet where the apartment is situated which is no bad thing to come back to when you wish to sleep. We had an excellent time in Berlin and would love to come back!

The apartment was beautiful, upscale appliances and leather furniture. The king-size bed was super comfortable! We stayed for 3weeks and fresh bed linens and towels were provided weekly, which was very nice. We loved the residential neighborhood with many nearby bakery cafes, and a supermarket to buy fresh grocery! We will highly recommend this place to everyone. // The only con is the building entrance - it's a historic old building so the door is SUPER heavy - maybe cast iron? It could be challenging to push open if you are shorter or have less strength.

    Really nice ja clean loft in a beautiful house. Lovely place to stay for a couple/two people. Very flexible with checkout. As our plane left late in the evening we were allowed to stay longer as there wasn´t any other guests coming right after us. Very recommendable!

    Just as advertised. Excellent place to stay. Especially liked the partial glass floor on the deck above. Definitely would consider staying there again. Only issue was at checkin (due to a same day checkout). The cleaning service packed away some materials while they were wet, and there was a mild odor when those cupboards were opened. Not a major problem though. Probably wouldn't have even been an issue had we stayed over after an empty day.

    Beautiful apartment in tranquil setting . Lovely to return to after a day’s sightseeing . Very impressed with the quality of the kitchen equipment , particularly the induction hob . The style and quality of the fittings is exceptional . As it opens on to a courtyard it is extremely light and airy . Our only disappointment was that the weather did not permit us to use the outside seating. Public transport in Berlin is brilliant so not a problem to get to all the sights . We recommend the 3 day Museum pass and if in Berlin for long enough the 7 day travel card .

    This apartment is super cool. No corners were cut in the construction of this flat. The owner built by hand and you can tell he put a lot of care into it. The apartment is stocked with everything one could need.. spices, top of line appliances, nespresso machine and pods.. Super friendly host and great location - first floor in a quaint courtyard. Would stay here again for sure.

  259. Well appointed and stylish loft

    We were extremely happy with our loft at Friedrichstr. 17 in Berlin. Much thought has been given to numerous aspects of the unit, such as the artwork, electrical fixtures, etc. It has a very 'funky' style and pleasing aesthetic. The quality of workmanship also shows. Although we didn't see it in the listing there is a little laundry machine and a drying rack. There was also coffee and tea available as well as a bag of candies to welcome us. The location is perfect as its close to the subway and to CheckPoint Charlie. We had agonized over what borough to stay at when we were in the city and I must say that were were not disappointed in our choice of Kreuzberg. There are many cafes and restaurants in the vicinity, and it is quite vibrant. Our host, Claudia was very responsive, so we had no problems getting access to the unit. She was also very understanding during the pandemic as we had to postpone our stay two years in a row. We'd like to return to Berlin. When we do we will be sure to rent from Berlin Lofts again!

    We loved our stay here! We ended up extending and stayed even longer than we originally planned. Communication with the team was quick and efficient and Stephan was very accommodating when our plans kept changing. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you need including spices, which was very nice. Location is super secure and quiet and close to lots of stuff. Would definitely stay here again.

    This really is the perfect place to stay in the heart of Berlin. The appartement itself is absolutely fabulous in a great building, well equipped (the kitchen is great) and with nice details. Really a space where you just want to be forever! Nice beds, large cupboards and a comfortable bath room (just one small remark: the shower should be better). Free parking outside the door in this place of the city is unbelievable (if you find a spot..). We used the steps from Lime as our way of transportation which was great fun. The support and service from BerlinLofts just completes a truly great experience.

    This flat was the perfect accommodation while staying in Berlin! It was so centrally located, just minutes from Checkpoint Charlie. It was a beautiful and stylish place, with nice and new appliances and spotless clean. We were very comfortable staying there. The check-in process was very easy and helpful. Stephan met us to welcome us into the place and also give some local tips. I would easily recommend this flat to anyone looking to stay in Berlin.
