    Sin dudas uno de los mejores apartamentos que he reservado por Airbnb! Realmente impecable la limpieza, hermoso y súper amplio, totalmente equipado con todo lo que necesitábamos!! Éramos 6 personas y una bebé y estuvimos muy cómodos!! La ubicación no es mala pero para ir al centro hay que combinar transportes y caminar. Tranquilo el barrio. Lo recomiendo al 100% , son pocos los apartamentos que están tan tan equipados y de una gran calidad todo lo que había! Volvería sin dudas!!!

    Laure was an excellent host. Our train was very late and she had no problem meeting us at the adjusted time. She was so kind to greet us with a bottle of wine and a challanging brain teaser puzzle for my 13 year old son. The apartment was very clean and in the absolute best location. We were able to walk to all the sites plus many cafes, specialty shops and restaurants. It was very quick to call an Uber too. We've already recommended this property to our friends, a family of 4, for their upcoming visit.

    We had a great stay at Old Blacksmith Loft! The place was even nicer in-person than in the pictures. The accommodations were very spacious + comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked (and then some) with everything you might need to entertain. The courtyard feels removed from the city, which was particularly relaxing. The location is solid, and the host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

    De plek is geweldig. Een oude smederij die verstopt zit achter in een normale Berlijnse straat. Erg sfeervol. Wij waren hier begin januari dus zaten vooral binnen maar in de zomer kan je ook nog buiten zitten. Appartement was volledig ingericht en alles was aanwezig. Van handdoeken tot peper en zout en koffie. Wij hebben drie avonden zelf gekookt in de complete keuken. De bar aan het keukenblok was ook erg gezellig. Het appartement waar wij zaten met 6 personen was groot en had 2 badkamers en 3 toiletten. Ik zou het zeker aanraden. De buurt is niet echt iets te beleven maar je bent met het openbaar vervoer snel op andere plekken in Berlijn. Een volgende keer zullen wij zeker weer hier proberen te verblijven.

    Great loft! Very spacious! With no knowledge of the area it is hard to find the right location. We were interested in going to christmas markets. The loft is not close to any of the markets.... However, it was readily accessible to the bus line...which take you to the train station to get to the markets. When we arrived we had requested additional towels. Many towels miraculous appeared outside our doorstep almost immediately! One of the workers, Maria. I believe her name was, was very, very helpful with local information for us.. The kitchen is amazingly well stocked. All in all of very good experience. If you have a fear of clowns, this is not the loft for you! There is a clown puppet hanging from the ceiling just above the refrigerator! It didn't bother us, but it might bother some! All and all a good experience. I imagine it would be absolutely gorgeous in the spring summer and fall.

    We stayed for 3 nights as a family to see the sights and go shopping. The loft was bigger than we thought and it had every thing covered. Nice courtyard with a parking space. We were 15 mins to most areas, and the area had a few good takeaways all within walking distance. I'd highly recommend staying here👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

    We loved our stay here! It was close walking distance to transportation that can take you all over Berlin. The inside was large and open. The kitchen was clean and well equipped, there is a large dining and living room area that was great for gathering. We had 3 bedrooms that were comfortable and private, and 2 full baths. The clothes washing machine was a nice added touch. There was also a nice front patio to enjoy. The pictures are exactly like the place. We really enjoyed it and will be back again if ever in Berlin. It was a bit hard for us to find because they do not have a front photo, but they quickly guided us through it and we were in in just minutes. Do not hesitate to stay here. Thank you Stephan!

    Die Wohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sie liegt in einem ruhigen Innenhof, ist sehr großzügig geschnitten, bietet draußen und drinnen die Möglichkeit es sich gemütlich zu machen und durch Veluxfenster und viel Glas ist die Wohnung auch sehr schön hell. Bei der gesamten Wohnung haben wir gemerkt, dass sich Stephan und sein Team viele Gedanken bei der Gestaltung und der Ausstattung gemacht haben. Wir waren wunschlos glücklich und sehr zufrieden und werden sicherlich wiederkommen und diese Wohnung auch weiterempfehlen.

    We had a wonderful stay at Berlinlofts. Stephan and Sofi were great hosts and were very responsive. The loft is a great space, 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The living area is very spacious and the kitchen has everything you need. Loved the courtyard and the open space. The loft is close to a bus stop, but the bus service in Berlin wasn't great. It's about a 10 minute walk to the underground and a large grocery store. Overall a great stay and happy memories.

    Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in der Alten Schmiede. Highlight für unsre Jugendlichen war der tolle Kühlschrank mit integrierter Eiswürfelmaschine. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig. Man kann sich gut vom Großstadttrubel erholen. Liebevolle Bepflanzung im Innenhof rundet das tolle Ambiente noch ab. Wir bekamen tolle Tipps von Stephan und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

The place was spotless. the kitchen was amazing. everything you could ever need, was there. the bathrooms were big and complete. You could choose between one with a bath or a shower. The bedrooms were very nice, big double beds, enough storage and places to charge your device's. too bad that the middle room had different curtains. they let a lot of light through in de morning. We weren't aware that the nearest S-Bahn were at least a 15/20 minute walk away. For my elderly parents that was a bit far. We had our car, so we drove to another one (Turmstasse) where we could park close by (parking is expensive though). The patio was lovely, especially at night. We really liked sitting outside at night. Our host was very nice and quick in his responses. we did a self check in and the instructions (with photos) were perfect. I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you again for a lovely stay!

    We had a wonderful stay here with our travel party (6 people). Stephan and Sofi were great hosts and were very accommodating. Absolute rockstars. The loft is a great space. So much natural light. I love the shared courtyard with the potted plants. In the morning, it was so relaxing to look out at. The loft is close to a bus stop and not too far from the underground. It really was a perfect spot to stay in Berlin. I was so sad to leave. It really felt like home away from home. I would definitely stay here again!

  58. Spacy flat that works

    The flat is huge, and we love space. Anything you need is in the flat. This goes for any kitchen utensils, coffee, towels, hangers, shampoo - just to point out some different issues. We really appreciate it. The Edeka supermarket and the bakery is about 10 minutes walk away which is great. We use the trains in Berlin a lot, but you need to accept a little walk as the flat is not so close to any station. And last but not least ... if it becomes hot, please notice that the flat does not have air condition installed.

    We were with 6 adults and had a wonderfull stay of 4 nights. No problem to arrive earlier (although in the end we were still late because we took the bus the wrong side at Hauptbahnhof…). Very good beds. We especially loved the small details like adapter facilities/switch plug at every bed. And very handy hanging system for your clothes. Late check out at 11 also very comfortable. Definitely recommended. Our tip: very very good Italian restorant nearby: Sapori di Casa Wilsnacker strasse.

    The best Airbnb experience I’ve had since the inception of the platform. The apartment makes you want to move to Berlin as soon as possible. The neighborhood is interesting. Haven’t explored it much but found an Italian restaurant which serves very good Italian food. Stephan is a great host.     Stephan was a great host, contact was easy and regular. He shared his local knowledge and some recommendations with us. The property was lovely with a wide range of equipment. The beds were very comfy and it was lovely to hear the birds singing outside of the property first thing in the morning. It is a short public transport ride to most tourist attractions, but the bus stop is 5 mins walk and underground around 10 mins, all public transport runs frequently and regularly. A lovely place to spend time with my 14 year old grandson and daughter in law.

    The loft was exactly as described - a great space for a family of 5. Bedrooms were a fine size and the downstairs living area was very spacious. Nice kitchen, well equipped and 2.5 bathrooms. We requested a high chair and extra towels and they arrived in minutes. There are a few nice cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby. Private parking space, which was helpful as we ended up driving into the city most days; while there are buses and trains somewhat close by they would’ve taken 30-60 mins to get to most tourist attractions whereas driving was 15-20 mins. Overall a great find if you want some space in Berlin.

We liked the Kreuzberg area and spent more of our time there so the location of this airbnb was not great, but you're still only like a 20 minute walk to the central train station.     The place was great, perfect for a family stay. Easy walk to the bus and U Bahn, we found the 123 bus useful to connect with the things we wanted to see. The public transport system is very easy and cheap to use. The apartment was very clean and safe, we felt as though it was a real home from home. Loads of plates and cutlery for everyone and the dishwasher was useful, it meant we could load and wash overnight. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

    This was our first trip to Berlin and the loft was the perfect base. We were 3 adults and 2 kids and there was more than enough room for all of us. We really had everything we needed, the loft was lovely and warm after a full day out sight seeing and was perfect for a great night's sleep. In terms of location, it can't be faulted. 10-15 minute (slow) walk to Birkenstraße U Bahn and 20-25 minute (slow) walk to Westhaven train station and we were connected to the entire city, can fully recommend the transport app and travel ticket. The closest supermarket was right next to the U and had everything we needed. The team went above and beyond for us and we were able to securely drop our bags early on day one and leave them for late collection on our last day as well. The loft was spotlessly clean, communication was great and we cannot recommend it enough. Thanks to all at Berlin lofts.

    The house is wonderful and met all our needs. The kitchen is very well equiped, and all the rooms are large, enough for at least two people each. We were altogether 5 people, so it fit perfectly. Everyone loved it. A remark on comminucation shall be done, though. Days before my check-in, I suggested to establish a channel for direct communication (Wh@ts@app) with the hosts, but they somehow prefered not to do it. So when I got in the place to do the check-in, there was this paper on the door demanding a regular phone call to the hosts, so they would let me in. A Wh@ats@pp call wouldn't work. As a foreigner, I don't have a German cell phone, so I couldn't make the call myself. I had to ask a German friend of mine to make it on my behalf, and I have to say it was very annoying. I had to wait 20 minutes outside the place until someone would let me in, and this surely would not have happened if the Wh@ts@pp channel had been opened in the first place, as I suggested. Apart this miscommunication during check-in, everything was fine and I would definitely reccomend the house if you have a German phone line, or a friend who does.

Originally had booked the place for 5 of us, but only 3 ended up coming. Probably too big for just three but we each got our own room. Washing machine worked well and nice to have a dishwasher. A cute courtyard right outside the front door where only neighbors have access. Not too many places to eat in the neighborhood, but there is a grocery store an 8 minute walk away that is huge. Would definitely stay here again.

    For a full week we lived 6 adults in the apartment and it was such a pleasure. We enjoyed the mix of relaxing and cooking in the apartment and going out and enjoying Berlin. Public transport from the apartment is easy and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. Stephan's guide for the neighborhood and insight on grocery stores was very helpful. Stephan and the team is friendly and accommodating and we especially liked the easy check-in, the insights we got and the ease of contacting Stephan with questions around parking etc. One evening when we were playing cards outside the apartment he even came over to give us a lamp, so we could play when the daylight started to fade. Such a nice gesture. Thanks for the stay, we would definitely visit again another time.

We found the electric scooters were the best way of getting around. The transport system is good in Berlin but a bit fragmented so most journeys were 2 part and the scooters really helped with that.     Our stay at Berlin Lofts' Old Forge Loft could not have been better. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. The apartment is spacious and well appointed in the renovated, historic brick building with a warm and modern feel. I was there with 5 other adult family members and there was more than enough room to accommodate us comfortably. The space is located just a block away from a grocery store, across the street from a bus stop and just a short walk away from the train station. My family and I totally fell in love with Old Forge Loft and we'll be sure to return.

    Das Loft liegt ruhig in einem gemütlichen Innenhof und es fehlt an nichts. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet und Bettwäsche sowie Handtücher werden gestellt. Es liegen viele Broschüren zu Ausflugstipps in Berlin aus. U-Bahn und Bus kann man in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichen. Die Kommunikation lief super einfach, schnell und unkompliziert. Sehr netter persönlicher Check-In. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!

There was everything super clean and nicely done. Two other AirBnB appartements were rentend next-door, but as we had nice neighbours there were no issues. Thanks for the nice stay.

    A really clean well appointed place. There were 6 of us - 4 adults and 2 children and we had plenty of room. We had a really good welcome handover from Stephan. There is much tourist info at the loft plus a local map of amenities. There were essential items provided (especially in the kitchen) and some mod cons. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking too. Great bathrooms and spacious bedrooms. UBahn about 10-15 minutes stroll away. The loft is situated in a lovely courtyard which was really quiet considering it is accessed from a busier road outside - it’s a hidden treasure through a very unsuspecting doorway from the Main Street. Would thoroughly recommend. We paid €30 to transfer from airport by taxi. A taxi from Brandenberg Gate is €10 if you have hungry children whose legs have run out after a long day!

It's a hidden gem, with the beautiful red-brick building and cute terrace locked in behind the somewhat ugly-looking outer apartment building. The area is not touristy, but has grocery shops nearby and good access to public transport so it's the perfect home away from home in Berlin!

    What a Stunning Place. This apartment surpassed its review on every level. In a quiet courtyard it was beautifully finished throughout. Downstairs is open plan, huge and great for family and friends relaxing after a hard day of sightseeing. The kitchen is super. Upstairs the 3 double bedroom are of a comfortable size with lots of hanging space, the beds are extremely comfortable and there is plenty of hot water in the two well-appointed bathrooms, although the bath is small the view over the staircase is ‘fun’. Bus and U-Bahn links are very close and there is a great super market 100m away. David and the Berlinlofts team could not have been more helpful. An absolute diamond of a place – would certainly use again.

    Great spacious and clean apartment we only had 3 people so it was nice having 3 rooms and 3 bathrooms. The apartment is in a safe secluded courtyard behind a building and it was a grey place to come back and relax at after a long day. The Berlin lofts team were helpful in getting us what we needed and organized a taxi for us to drop us at the airport. You'll have to take a taxi or public transportation to Get into the main center of town but it doesn't take too long at all.

    The apartment was wonderful and perfect for our two families. It was really warm with direct access to the heat controls; really clean and really well equipped. The check-in was great with Jan meeting us and explaining all the various points about the apartment and the area. It was a bus trip from the city but the stop is right across the street and taxis were pretty cheap also. There is a small supermarket nearby, a great local Lebanese store and some restaurants. We really had a great time and the apartment is really unique having been converted from the old buildings. Danke!

    Wir waren zu fünft (Familie) hatten einen gossartigen Aufenthalt in diesem grosszügigen Loft. Die grosse Terrasse bietet abends die Möglichkeit den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Es ist unserer Ansicht zentral gelegen und bietet die Möglichkeit in der Nähe den Bus oder die U Bahn zu benutzen (da wir zu fünft waren haben wir uns meist ein Taxi gegönnt oder sind gelaufen). Durch den Hinterhof ist es ruhig und man kann wirklich gut schlafen. Für unseren Geschmack war es toll eingerichtet und hatte ein besonderes flair. Die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos und zügig, toll. Danke für Alles!

    Fantastic spacious apartment in a quiet cozy court yard. Very well equipped kitchen, very large bathroom with sky view from the bathtub. Very friendly host. We were traveling three generations together — parents, grandparents and kids.  The apparent was perfect for this. Large sofa, plenty of room for all, toys, guidebook, large fridge, two bathrooms and a nice terrace. The apartment can be a bit noisy (when staying with kids), but the rooms upstairs are very quiet with the door closed ;) also great if you don’t get up/go to bed at the same time.

    For a full week we lived 6 adults in the apartment and it was such a pleasure. We enjoyed the mix of relaxing and cooking in the apartment and going out and enjoying Berlin. Public transport from the apartment is easy and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. Stephan's guide for the neighborhood and insight on grocery stores was very helpful. Stephan and the team is friendly and accommodating and we especially liked the easy check-in, the insights we got and the ease of contacting Stephan with questions around parking etc. One evening when we were playing cards outside the apartment he even came over to give us a lamp, so we could play when the daylight started to fade. Such a nice gesture. Thanks for the stay, we would definitely visit again another time.

    This property has three beautiful bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a beautiful kitchen, and nice livingroom with TV. The location is nice and accessible to mass transit. The only downside was that the internet is shared from the entire property not in the unit so it was spotty at best, so if it is a working vacation, unfortunately this is not the place to stay.

    Sehr warme und gemütliche Loft mitten in Berlin. Gut ausgestattet. Allerdings für 8 Personen nur bedingt zu verwenden, man hat einfach kein Platz in den Zimmern für weitere zwei Gästebetten. Für 6 Personen optimal. Parkplatz ist im Innenhof vorhanden, Bushaltestelle 200m vom Haus entfernt.

    Our stay at Berlin Lofts' Old Forge Loft could not have been better. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. The apartment is spacious and well appointed in the renovated, historic brick building with a warm and modern feel. I was there with 5 other adult family members and there was more than enough room to accommodate us all comfortably. The space is located just a block away from a grocery store, across the street from a bus stop and just a short walk away from the train station. My family and I totally fell in love with Old Forge Loft and we'll be sure to return.

He welcomed us personally upon our arrival which I thought was a very special and personable touch! Anytime we needed anything he was available and easy to reach. The communication was great! The loft was very well equipped and we lacked for nothing. I would definitely recommend any of the Berlin lofts accommodations! Each space is unique and well thought out!

    The Old Forge has to be rated as a top class venue when staying in Berlin. Do not be put off by the complex entrance. Once inside the courtyard and property itself you and transported to a different world. The facilities are top class, scrupulously clean and extremely comfortable. There is very little neighbourhood or traffic noise yet more than enough local facilities to satisfy needs, whilst local buses stop almost outside which will be able to transport you to the main station (Hauptbahnhof) or other parts of the city.

    Die Old Forge Loft ist eine herrlich große Ferienwohnung in der man sich so richtig ausbreiten und wohlfühlen kann. Neben den 3 Schlafzimmern (in den Betten haben wir sehr gut geschlafen!) sind die beiden sehr geräumigen Bäder ein echtes Highlight. Das absolute Highlight war für uns aber die außergewöhnliche Küchen-Bar, da hat das Kochen und das Dabei-Zuschauen richtig Spass gemacht. Der Sitzplatz im Hof ist zwar nicht sehr groß, aber durch die Ruhe des Hinterhofes ein angenehmer Ort wenn das Wetter schön ist. Überhaupt merkt man in der Wohnung und im Hof nicht, dass man mitten in Berlin ist, die Hinterhof-Lage sorgt für herrliche Ruhe. Der ganze Gebäudekomplex ist sehr geschmackvoll und kreativ zu Wohnungen ausgebaut, hier waren echt gute Architekten und Innenarchitekten am Werk. Und die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet, wir haben, auch beim Kochen, absolut nichts vermisst.

    Wir sind schon seit sehr vielen Jahren in den Berlin Lofts untergebracht und kommen auch jedes Jahr gerne wieder. Die Lofts sind sehr schön eingerichtet und geräumig und es fehlt an nichts. Auch die Kommunikation mit Herrn la Barre und Frau Aniszewski hat wieder wunderbar geklappt! Wir freuen uns schon aufs nächste Jahr!

    Appartement parfaitement équipé, tout est en excellent état et fonctionnel. Literie très confortable. La petite terrasse extérieure est un plus très appréciable en été. Endroit idéal pour découvrir Berlin, bien situé par rapport aux transports. Nous recommandons sans réserve et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

  243. Nice but needs some thorough cleaning

    Location is brilliant and the loft is very well equipped. Our only remark is that the general cleanliness can improve: your feet/socks get pitch-black when walking inside without shoes + some traces of potato chips of the previous visitors.

    Our family had a great stay at the Old Forge Loft in Berlin. The flat was spacious and well appointed, and the staff who greeted us was extremely helpful. We've stayed in many places around the world and this was one of the best.

    We really enjoyed our stay at Old Forge Loft in Berlin. There was a lot of space, it was really clean, everything was perfect. It is a perfect place for a group of friends to stay a few days and visit Berlin.

    Wir waren zu fünft hier in diesem grossartigen Loft. Es ist wie ich finde zentral gelegen und bietet in der Nacht durch den Hinterhof Ruhe und Erholung. Die Terrasse bietet die Möglichkeit abends zu flanieren und den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Ganz klar, wir würden wieder kommen!
